Part of the Lake County Council for Seniors’ mission is to promote quality of life for Lake County seniors through advocacy, education and cooperation with other agencies who have the same goals.
To meet our objective, LCCS monitors legislation and legislative issues to determine whether current plans might pose potentially beneficial or troublesome changes for support to the senior community. We then alert seniors about major relevant issues – along with sources utilized - so seniors can develop informed decisions and make their voices heard on behalf of programs they believe could impact on their well-being.

In addition, as a non-partisan, 501[c][3]) non-profit organization, LCCS neither provides nor accepts any money to or from any political party.
