The Lake County Council for Seniors (LCCS) began in 1973 as an advocacy organization to bring Lake County the benefits promised by the Older American Act of 1965.
Our founders helped to form Lake County’s first senior centers, helped promote affordable housing and initiated efforts to help seniors remain independent.
As a 501[c][3] not-for-profit non-partisan corporation, LCCS continues to provide assistance to seniors, promote senior health programs and support financial well-being through a variety of outreach activities to communities and legislators. Membership includes private individuals, health care service providers, banks and senior citizen organizations. Given our broad representation, LCCS considers itself the “Voice of Lake County Seniors.”
To add your voice to our advocacy efforts, please consider a yearly membership to continue the work of helping others in our community. Click on and download the Membership Form to become a member and on the Contact Us if you have a question about our organization.
